  Experience the thrill of dog sledding on this perfect introduction to Arctic life. Just 45 minutes from Tromsø, this tour combines an exciting husky sled ride with quality time at the kennel and a comfortable return transfer by coach. After the ride, you will have time to enjoy the scenery with hot drinks and cookies.

  Evening Snowmobile Excursion into the Wilderness

  Upon arrival at camp we serve you a hot dinner. Once you're finished you dress in warm winter gear and begin the adventure after some safety instructions and a practical demonstration. It is then time to follow our 20 km snowmobiling track that leads you to the snow-covered mountains. We will stop during the trip to take photos and play in the snow. You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling excursion. Duration: 7.5 hours total (including 85-minute transfer each way)

  Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Whale Island in a comfortable minivan all the way to the picturesque village of Sommarøy, and discover the region’s history and culture! On this tour, we will travel across Kvaløya, the “Island of Whales” — a land of fjords, mountains, valleys, and lakes offering some of the most spectacular scenery in the region. Once we reach Sommarøy, the “Island of Summer”, we’ll take a short sightseeing tour of the village with a stop at one of the stunning white-sand beaches that make this island so enchanting.

  Located in a beautiful valley nestled between Norwegian mountains 50 minutes away from Tromsø city center, our camp will allow you to get to know our reindeer, feed them, pet them, and take wonderful pictures. Then our amazing Sami guides will take you through centuries of indigenous history with a traditional taste of Bidos, a reindeer stew with potatoes and carrots in a brown gravy (vegan option available), and tales from their culture, from reindeer herding to courtship customs, old wives' tales, and anecdotes from their families. Be curious and ready to ask questions; they can’t wait to share with you!
