Start your Oulu adventure with ease and comfort. You arrive at Oulu Airport and a private transfer takes you directly to Nallikari Resort, where your room awaits. Your accommodation is "Hiekka," room a welcoming space designed for relaxation. Upon arrival, you complete your check-in and settle in. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant as part of your half board arrangement (optional). This first day is all about arriving refreshed and ready to explore Finland's beautiful Arctic region. From the moment you land until you rest your head, everything is organized and waiting for you.

Day 2 — 🇫🇮 Oulu

You begin your day with Arctic Sea Ice Fishing, where you learn traditional fishing techniques on frozen lakes surrounded by pristine winter landscapes. Feel the excitement as you fish through holes in the ice and connect with this timeless Arctic tradition. As evening arrives, you move to the Arctic Northern Lights Camp, where you settle into a cozy wilderness setting designed for viewing the spectacular Aurora Borealis. Watch the sky dance with green and purple lights while you wait in comfort. Your guide shares fascinating stories about this natural phenomenon and the local Arctic culture. This experience combines outdoor excitement, natural wonder, and comfortable hospitality, making it the perfect introduction to Arctic life in Oulu, Finland.

  Experience the thrill of ice fishing on the frozen sea of Oulu – feel the strike, see the fish rise from the depths, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Arctic winter. We catch fish on almost every tour. Arctic Sea Ice Fishing is our most popular winter experience. The Oulu sea area, located in the Gulf of Bothnia, turns into a frozen wonderland during the winter months, offering beautiful views over the frozen sea and the city skyline. The fish-rich sea is also an excellent place for ice fishing, and we usually catch fish on almost every trip.

  Experience something most travellers have never experienced before – a winter night on the frozen sea with a local guide. Step onto the frozen Gulf of Bothnia in Oulu and leave the shore behind as you walk across the sea towards our heated Arctic camp. Surrounded by a vast landscape of snow and ice, darkness and silence, you will experience the northern winter from a completely different perspective. And if the Northern Lights appear above the frozen sea, the night may become even more unforgettable.

Day 3 — 🇫🇮 Oulu

On this amazing day in Oulu, Finland, you experience the magic of the Arctic winter. Start your morning with reindeers and visit a real Christmas tree farm where you learn how these trees grow in the snow. Feel the silence and beauty of the frozen landscape around you. Later, you move to a special tent built right on the frozen sea (optional activity). Here you enjoy a traditional sauna that warms your body completely. For the brave and adventurous, you can swim in the ice-cold water beneath the ice. This is an unforgettable experience that only few people ever try. In the evening, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner (optional). Rest and warm up after your incredible day in one of the world's most beautiful winter destinations.

  Meet, feed, walk, and photograph friendly reindeer, and visit a Christmas tree farm in a peaceful countryside setting close to Oulu city center. Enjoy warm drinks and sweet pastries by an open fire inside a cozy wooden hut – a memorable experience for families, couples, and anyone seeking a touch of Northern Finland’s countryside magic. You will visit a family-run Christmas tree farm, home to three carefully cared-for reindeer. Instead of crowds and large herds, you’ll meet the reindeer personally, learn their names and stories, and enjoy unhurried time with them. You’ll have plenty of time to feed, pet, and photograph the reindeer at your own pace.
